This review is for a specific: hotel.
Would you recommend this to a friend? We stayed here probably only because we booked the room at the very last second. I don't think I would ever particularly recommend someone staying here when the are so many hotels in the same area.
Was it crowded? The hotel was packed because it was Christmas week and there were lots of vacationers.
Was it family friendly? Absolutely, there were kids everywhere probably going to Disney or Universal. They even cut us a break on the breakfast buffet and let our daughter eat free even though she had surpassed to 10 year old age limit.
How was the staff? The staff was polite but the housekeeping was lackluster. The rooms were cleaned just enough to get by. We had to call the desk for towels on more than one occasion because they seemed to be stingy, and when we did call we had to wait and wait.
Was it clean and comfortable? This hotel needs a good renovation. One elevator was out of service when we were there and another elevator made so much noise we thought we were doomed. The rooms were so-so, I wouldn't call them dirty but I would say they had gotten plenty of use over the years. The parking lot also was full on one of the nights we were there and I actually drove around about three times before deciding to make my own parking space. I did not like that at all.
How was the weather? Orlando Florida in December is beautiful. We had 70's and 80's all week with no rain.
